CREATORs CORNER Application

CREATORS CORNER APPLICATIONS ARE CURRENTLY OPEN. PLEASE APPLY BELOW!

  • Creators Corner is our way of giving back to the community!

From day one, Anime Magic! has always wanted to give talented up-and-coming creators a platform to grow their brand and presence. So far, we have succeeded at that by offering a limited number of Special Guest positions to those who applied, and qualified. Each year, we receive hundreds of applications from across the nation (and even some from across the globe!) competing for these Special Guest positions. Due to this, our Special Guest positions are highly competitive by nature, and particularly so, the larger we grow.

Anime Magic! has always been committed to providing this platform for creators, and Creators Corner is our answer to being able to continue providing a space for those who may not make it into our Special Guest positions in any given year, aren’t ready for a Special Guest position and would like to continue growing their brand, aren’t interested in what being a Special Guest requires of them, would like to sell their wares, or perhaps just to have fun showing off their creations at their own booth. Creators Corner is a space for content creators, cosplayers, podcasters, fabricators, performers, or anyone who creates! The possibilities are endless, and we are excited to see what you come up with!

    • What is Creators Corner?

      • Creators Corner is similar to our Artist Alley; it is a space where you can promote and build your brand or business at Anime Magic!. You may sell prints/merch within policy, and promote yourself as a creator!

    • What Creators Corner Isn’t:

      • Creators Corner is NOT a Special Guest Position. Per Policy, you may not promote yourself as “guesting” or “appearing” at Anime Magic! if you are approved for a Creators Corner Booth.

    • If this is for the Community, why do these booths cost money?

      1. 1) The cost of materials & labor for the physical booth from the convention center.

      2. 2) Anime Magic! staff providing year-round planning & correspondence for the Creators Corner.

      3. 3) Each Booth includes 2 full weekend badges.

These are just a few of the factors that go into our pricing, and you can rest assured we’re doing our best to keep these as affordable as possible!

    • Can I post on social media about my Creators Corner Booth?

      • Of course! We want you to! Please, just use terms like “Come see me at my Creators Corner booth #XX” or, “I will be in Creators Corner @ Anime Magic!” or similar.

    • Where is Creators Corner Located?

      • Creators Corner is located in Hall G at the Convention Center, in the same location as our Industry Vendors, Dealers & Artist Alley.

    • Will I be featured in Guidebook?

      • Yes! We will have a “Creators Corner” section on our Guidebook app where attendees can see you listed, your information and links, and of course your booth location.

  • We want you to succeed! That is the entire reason we created Creators Corner. Check out our pro tips below to see what you can do to increase your chances of success at Anime Magic!’s Creators Corner.

    • These booths are 10x10 (or larger). It’s a GREAT idea to place a backdrop in your booth, and allow your fans to take pictures with you at your booth to post on social media! Popular backdrops include “step & repeat” style, themed/scenery backdrops, or even a collage of your work.

    • Get custom merchandise to sell. Some ideas include apparel, custom built props or items, prints, posters, keychains, acrylic standees, etc.

    • Market yourself! Print QR code signs to place on your booth that lead to your social media, carrd, linktree, or similar.

    • Run promotional deals on your merchandise during the convention weekend.

    • People love interactivity. Have a fun game setup at your booth where people can win a prize! Ask them to follow your social media for a chance to play.

    • Don’t be shy! Attendees want to meet you. Hand out flyers as they pass by your booth, greet them, and introduce yourself. You can also have an assistant help you with this!

  • BY REGISTERING FOR CREATORS CORNER YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
